Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Hoang Thanh Hien - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh, said: In recent days, storm No. 3 (super typhoon Yagi) with very strong intensity has severely affected the northern provinces and cities, causing many deaths and missing people; infrastructure was seriously damaged. People's houses and properties were severely damaged. Many areas are still cut off and isolated by floods and landslides, making people's lives very difficult.

Comrade Hoang Thanh Hien - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province spoke at the launching ceremony.

Promoting the tradition of national solidarity, with the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the rich help the poor" and responding to the call of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to mobilize support for compatriots to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.

After the call for support, the leaders of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province, together with the Department's officials, civil servants, employees and workers, raised more than 22 million VND. The entire amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for coordination and timely transfer to localities, helping people overcome the consequences of storm No. 3./.
