Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education, said that most candidates had registered for admission on the first day the Ministry of Education and Training opened the registration portal (with about more than 600,000 candidates registering on July 18).

Compared to the total number of candidates registering for university admission last year, this number increased by about 60,000 candidates. The system has been operating stably in the past few days. The deadline for candidates to register for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system is 5:00 p.m. on July 30.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6 is the time for candidates to pay the admission fee, this activity is also completely done online.

What should candidates do after completing their university admission application?

The Ministry of Education and Training coordinates with the Government Office to prepare the infrastructure for connecting and paying online registration fees (through the National Public Service Portal with 17 main online payment channels nationwide). The Ministry of Education and Training has issued a document on implementing online payment of university admission fees in 2024 with prescribed timelines for each province and city to ensure safety and convenience.
