Department of Finance supports Huong Khe to build 2 charity houses and build new rural areas

Through the volleyball tournament to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the establishment of the financial sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2023), Ha Tinh Department of Finance mobilized 80 million VND to implement social security activities in Huong Khe.

On the morning of September 19, the Ha Tinh Department of Finance supported 2 poor households in Huong Khe district to build charity houses and supported an intellectual house for the people of village 4, Huong Lien commune.

At the end of August 2023, the family of Mr. Ho The Xoan (born in 1994, living in Rao Tre ward, Huong Lien commune) had a fire. Through the connection of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Khe district, the Department of Finance supported Mr. Xoan with 40 million VND to build a new house. Along with other mobilized resources, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Khe district rebuilt the house for Mr. Xoan with a total value of about 140 million VND. It is expected that by the end of September 2023, the house will be completed and put into use to help Mr. Xoan's family stabilize their lives.

Also through the connection of the Huong Khe District Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Finance supported the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (born in 1991, in Khuong Thuong village, Loc Yen commune) with 20 million VND to build a house. This is a poor single-parent household with extremely difficult circumstances. In addition to the support of the Department of Finance, the District Fatherland Front Committee also called for resources to support Ms. Phuong with an additional 70 million VND. It is expected that the house will be completed before this year's storm season to help Ms. Khuong and her children have a place to avoid floods.

On this occasion, the Department of Finance also supported the government and people of Village 4, Huong Lien Commune with 20 million VND to build an intellectual house; thereby helping the locality to complete the model residential area standards in 2023. It is known that Huong Lien Commune is the locality sponsored by the Department of Finance to build a new rural area from 2021 to present.

On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Youth Union of the Department of Finance visited and gave a gift for the new school year to Vo Thi Hoai An (born in 2009, in Binh Ha village, Huong Binh commune). An is an orphan, living with her grandmother, in extremely difficult circumstances and was adopted by the Youth Union of the Department of Finance as a "foster child of the Union", receiving 500,000 VND per month.

The total value of the social security program implemented by the Department of Finance this time is 80 million VND. This amount was donated from the industry's volleyball tournament on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the establishment of the finance industry (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2023).
Through this social security program, the Department of Finance hopes to contribute a small part to help people in difficult circumstances build houses and improve their lives; at the same time, help Huong Lien commune in particular and Huong Khe district in general to build new rural areas.
