According to Ms. Tran Xuan Dieu, representative of CityU University, the Summer Camp helps young people have the opportunity to visit and learn about life in Seattle, exchange cultures, learn new knowledge, improve their English skills and practice an independent lifestyle.

The Vietnamese student delegation participating in the program includes four young people from Van Lang University and FUNiX OnlineEducation Organization.
After three weeks of living and studying in Seattle, Cong Truc shared his excitement when visiting the headquarters of technology corporation Amazon.
The tour of the exhibition hall also left the student overwhelmed with automatic robots, electronic globes that can show information such as earthquakes, forest fires... as well as information about other planets.
Ho Minh Hoang, a second-year student majoring in English at Van Lang University, was impressed by his visit to the Mopop Museum (Museum of Pop Culture). This is a place to store and preserve objects related to popular culture (Pop Culture).
Sharing about the recent period, Hoang said that his view of America has completely changed. According to Hoang, Seattle is very clean, beautiful and peaceful, with many communities living together peacefully, completely different from the impressions of racism or attacks as he had previously learned online.
During the summer camp, students participate in English classes hosted by the Washington Language Training Institute at CityU.
Nguyen Ngoc Tuong Vy, a student at Van Lang University, said that the lessons all revolve around practical topics. Students not only discuss in class but also visit related locations to observe directly and learn more about the topics they have studied.
Mr. Le Quang Thao, a lecturer at Van Lang University and also the leader of the Vietnamese student group attending the summer camp, assessed that the program is a great opportunity for young people to learn about life in the US.
This is also an opportunity for the children to learn new knowledge, improve their English skills and practice an independent lifestyle. Teacher Thao commented that after three weeks of participating in the summer camp, the children have become more confident and mature.
