This is an annual gratitude activity organized by the Hanoi Union, practically expressing deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Also on this occasion, representatives of the Union offered incense at the Hanoi Martyrs' Cemetery, to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, the nation's outstanding sons who bravely fought and heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.

This meaningful program is a sideline activity of the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024, which is expected to officially open on July 12 and take place for 5 days from July 12 to 16, 2024.

The festival is also among the practical activities to promote the image of the thousand-year-old capital Hanoi, towards the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and the 25th anniversary of Hanoi being awarded the title "City for Peace " by UNESCO.
