SeABank launches SeARun 2024 community run

The annual community run "SeABank Run For The Future 2024" (SeARun 2024) organized by Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, stock code SSB) will start from November 8 - November 30, 2024 on the online platform via the UpRace application.

Not only a playground for physical training, SeARun 2024 also aims to reach out to the community with the goal of planting 68,000 more trees and awarding 10 lifetime scholarships to poor but studious students with a total estimated amount of nearly 1.7 billion VND.

Held annually since 2018, SeABank's community run "SeABank Run For The Future" has attracted the attention and participation of 150,000 athletes who are employees, partners, and customers nationwide with more than 6.1 million km through live and online races. Following the successes achieved, SeARun 2024 will take place in 23 days (from November 8 to November 30, 2024) in the form of online on the UpRace application called SeARun 2024: Beyond Limit - Be a Legend.

Through this race, SeABank hopes to bring a useful sports playground, help people improve their sportsmanship, connect people who share the same interest in running. In particular, the race also has a profound humanitarian meaning "For the community" - one of the Bank's 5 core values, contributing to connecting customers and the community to join hands to protect the environment, support poor children to study well, and move towards the good values ​​of life.

As a non-profit running tournament, each km that an athlete runs will be converted into 1,000 VND and SeABank will donate to the SeAGreen environmental charity fund to plant 68,000++ trees, and at the same time award lifetime scholarships to 10 poor students who have overcome difficulties through the Dream Nurturing Fund. The total estimated amount is nearly 1.7 billion VND.

The new feature of this race is that the Organizing Committee has added a small group feature within the large team. Specifically, after the athlete registers for the event, they will choose a large team to participate in, and the team members can continue to form small groups and compete with each other. This creates competition between small groups to promote the achievements of the large team.

In addition, this season there will be separate tables for semi-professional running groups and amateur running groups (the semi-professional group will be in the SeAPro – Runner table).

Notably, the Organizing Committee also divided the completion levels into 5 levels corresponding to the titles and kilometers of each athlete: FIGHTER (>50km), WARRIOR (>100km), HERO (>200km), SUPER (>300km), ANGEL (>400km) and LEGEND (>500km) and received corresponding certificates at the end of the tournament. In particular, athletes will have their achievements doubled on Sundays during the program and Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 2024).

This year's prize structure is extremely attractive with a total value of nearly 150 million VND for the following categories: Pro-Runner Collective Award for the Top 3 semi-professional teams with the highest total valid achievements; Pro-Runner Individual Award for the Top 20 semi-professional athletes with the highest total valid achievements; Amateur Collective Award for the Top 6 teams with the highest total valid achievements; Individual Award for the Top 20 amateur athletes with the highest total valid achievements.

How to run SeABank Run For The Future 2024 and join hands to carry out meaningful social activities as follows:

Step 1: Athletes download the UpRace app on their mobile phones or visit the website: https://uprace.vn and register for an account. Athletes who already have an UpRace account can log in to their existing account.

Step 2: After successfully registering an account, athletes will participate in the event by clicking the “Join” button on the SeARun 2024 [SS2]: Beyond Limit – Be a Legend event in the “Community” > “Events” section on the application.

Step 3: Players click to create a new team or join a Team of their choice.

- Each athlete account can only choose one Team to compete in the event.

- In each team, athletes can create/create small groups to compete in the same Big Team.

- Athletes are not allowed to change Teams from the event start at 00:00 on November 8, 2024.

- Athletes who do not register to participate in new events from 00:00 on November 17, 2024.
