The renovation and upgrading of provincial road 390 connecting to national highway 5 will be completed.

Provincial Road 390 connecting National Highway 5 (Hai Duong) to National Highway 10 (Hai Phong City) has completed about 5 km of main road.

Currently, the Project to Renovate and Upgrade Provincial Road 390 from Hop Thanh Bridge to Quang Thanh Bridge has completed the entire bridge section and about 5 km of road section. The remaining work volume at the construction site is not much.

The contractor is mobilizing manpower and machinery to speed up the construction of the remaining 60m of the main road and 200m of the service road. These are the final locations of the project that have just been handed over by the Thanh Ha District People's Committee. The construction of culverts, construction of the road behind pier M2, construction of the traffic safety system, etc. are being urgently completed. The contractor strives to complete the entire project by April 10.

The final sections of the project are being rushed to completion.

The project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 390 from Hop Thanh bridge to Quang Thanh bridge is invested by the Hai Duong Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board. The project has a total length of 5.084 km. The starting point is at km30+097 of provincial road 390 in the old Thanh Thuy commune, the ending point is at km35+181.37 of provincial road 390 in the Thanh Cuong commune, now Vinh Cuong commune (in Thanh Ha district). The total investment of the project is 412.189 billion VND. Of which, the road is renovated and expanded to the scale of a grade III plain road, with a roadbed width of 12 m. The bridge section will build an additional Hop Thanh bridge unit equal to the width of the old bridge (7 m).

Provincial Road 390 is renovated and expanded to the scale of a grade III plain road, with a 12 m wide roadbed.

The renovation and upgrading of Provincial Road 390 will increase connectivity, ensure traffic safety and meet the increasing transportation demand from National Highway 5 (Hai Duong) to National Highway 10 (Hai Phong City).
When Quang Thanh Bridge and the road connecting Quang Thanh Bridge to Provincial Road 390 are officially put into operation, along with the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection with Provincial Road 390 in Thanh Ha district being invested in and built, it will contribute to completing the regional traffic infrastructure according to the planning; creating conditions to attract investment projects, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Thanh Ha district in particular and Hai Duong province in general.
