On April 20, the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone announced that the province has approved the investment policy for the Eo Gio eco-tourism project (Quy Nhon city), including the glass bridge project.

Eo Gio eco-tourism project is planned with comprehensive tourism services, glass bridge for sightseeing, balcony for sightseeing, restaurant and other ancillary services.

The area of Eo Gio eco-tourism area is expected to be more than 10 hectares with a total investment of nearly 80 billion VND.

The project implementation period is 48 months from the date of the decision to recognize the results of the land use rights auction or the decision to approve the investor. In which, the progress of completing investment preparation procedures shall not exceed 12 months.

It is known that at the end of 2015, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province approved the implementation of the Eo Gio high-class eco-tourism resort project with a total investment of 1,600 billion VND.

Since 2017, FLC Group has been constructing construction items such as a viewing platform, a concrete road running along the rocky mountainside down to the coast, a welcome gate and selling tickets for visitors to visit and experience Eo Gio, at a price of 25,000 VND/visitor.

In 2022, the Binh Dinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board issued a document terminating the operation of the Eo Gio high-end eco-tourism resort project of FLC Group due to failure to follow the progress registered with the investment management agency.

According to the leaders of Binh Dinh province, Eo Gio tourist area is an attractive destination for tourists, however, in recent times, it has not received proper investment and still has shortcomings...

"The province is planning a new project, including building a glass-bottomed bridge here to watch the sunrise. The provincial People's Committee will auction it so that investors can continue to invest and develop this tourist area systematically. This is one of the most beautiful and unique destinations in Binh Dinh," said Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee.
