Expanding development space
La Gi Town determines that the arrangement of administrative units (AUDs) contributes to streamlining the organization of the political system; restructuring and improving the quality and public service responsibilities of the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees. At the same time, expanding the development space, concentrating resources, promoting the potential and advantages of localities. Therefore, in the past time, implementing the Master Plan for arranging AUDs at district and commune levels for the period 2023 - 2025 with a vision to 2030, the Standing Committee of La Gi Town Party Committee (term XI) listened to and gave opinions on the Master Plan for arranging AUDs at commune level for the period 2023 - 2025 of La Gi Town. After listening to the report, analyzing and evaluating the feasibility, advantages and disadvantages of each option, the Standing Committee of La Gi Town Party Committee unanimously chose the option of adjusting a part of the natural area of about 4.25 km2 and the population of about 4,000 people of Tan Phuoc commune to Phuoc Loc ward to implement the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025 of La Gi town. After that, the Town People's Committee completed the overall plan for the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025 of La Gi town and submitted it to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Home Affairs).
According to the People's Committee of La Gi town, the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025 will contribute to expanding development space, promoting resources, potentials, promoting advantages of localities, promoting development, improving people's lives. At the same time, seriously and effectively implement Resolution No. 37, Conclusion No. 48, Resolution No. 35 and Resolution No. 117; create a clear change in awareness and actions of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies, organizations, units and local authorities at all levels. On the other hand, clearly define the tasks, responsibilities and coordination of agencies, units, People's Committees of wards and communes (especially Tan Phuoc commune, Phuoc Loc ward) and relevant agencies in directing and organizing the implementation of the arrangement of administrative units.

In order for the Master Plan for the arrangement of administrative units at the commune level in the period of 2023-2025 of La Gi town to be implemented on schedule and according to the process, in 2024, the town will develop a Project for the arrangement of administrative units of Tan Phuoc commune and Phuoc Loc ward (adjusting part of the natural area of Tan Phuoc commune into Phuoc Loc ward) (belonging to the arrangement period of 2023-2025), send it to the Department of Home Affairs and relevant provincial agencies for comments before submitting it to the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee for approval. At the same time, organize to collect voters' opinions in Phuoc Loc ward and Tan Phuoc commune; through the People's Councils at the commune and town levels, the dossier of the project for the arrangement of administrative units of Tan Phuoc commune and Phuoc Loc ward (adjusting part of the natural area of Tan Phuoc commune into Phuoc Loc ward) in the period of 2023-2025; review, adjust and supplement the town's planning; Conduct the arrangement and consolidation of the organizational structure, arrange a team of non-professional workers, people working in villages and neighborhoods at commune-level administrative units to carry out the arrangement.
By 2025, the rearrangement and handling of headquarters and public assets of agencies, organizations and units at the commune-level administrative units will continue. The conversion of relevant documents of individuals, organizations and enterprises due to changes in boundaries and names of the commune-level administrative units will be completed. Coordinate the implementation of the work of establishing new, adjusting and supplementing records and boundary maps of administrative units at all levels according to the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of each district-level and commune-level administrative unit under the guidance of the Provincial People's Committee...
