The 2023 Vietnamese Goods Week in Thailand, themed The Magical Taste of Vietnam – Southern Flavors, will for the first time focus on introducing and promoting culture, tourism and the best OCOP products from the Mekong Delta, Ho Chi Minh City, and many provinces and cities across the country.
This annual event will open up business opportunities for nearly 100 Vietnamese enterprises to participate in trade connections with retail distribution systems in Thailand, as well as meet directly with entrepreneurs and customers to seek trade and investment cooperation opportunities.
Mr. Paul Le - Vice President of Central Retail Group in Vietnam - said: Vietnam Goods Week in Thailand 2023 is the 6th time the event has been held in Thailand. This is one of the typical activities of Central Retail in Vietnam to realize the commitment "Contributing to the prosperity of Vietnam and improving the quality of life of Vietnamese people".
Up to now, the Goods Week program has helped 19 Vietnamese enterprises to export directly and stably to Thailand through the supermarket chain of Central Group Thailand, typically brands such as: King Coffee (instant coffee), Mr. Viet (coffee), Trung Nguyen (coffee), Real Bean Coffee (coffee beans and ground coffee), Bibica (snacks), Acecook (instant noodles), Vifon (instant pho), Vinamit (dried fruit), Hai Binh (wood-roasted cashew nuts), Chinsufoods (soy sauce), Dai Viet Nutrition Joint Stock Company (instant porridge), Viet Pepper (pepper)...
Thanks to successful exports to Thailand, these companies can expand their scope of operations and increase their presence in the international market. This also proves that the Thai market opens up many opportunities for Vietnamese businesses.
"Through the years of organization, we have realized that Vietnamese Goods Week “Vietnam Expo in Thailand has become an event that businesses look forward to, as the number of registered businesses has increased steadily over the years. This event plays an increasingly important role, creating a “playground” for Vietnamese businesses to directly meet Central Group Thailand’s purchasing team; listen to direct feedback from consumers and import partners in Thailand; on that basis, Vietnamese businesses adjust their products to be able to successfully export to the Thai market through modern retail channels,” Mr. Paul Le emphasized.
