Exhibition of new and creative handicraft products in Hanoi City is coming soon

From November 14 to 17, in Thach That district, the Exhibition of new and creative handicraft products and designs of Hanoi City in 2024 will take place.

Implementing Plan No. 43/KH-UBND dated January 31, 2024 of the Hanoi People's Committee on Hanoi Industrial Promotion in 2024; Plan No. 700/KH-SCT dated February 23, 2024 of the Department of Industry and Trade on implementing the Hanoi Industrial Promotion Plan in 2024;... Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with the People's Committee of Thach That district to organize an Exhibition of new and creative handicraft products and designs of Hanoi City in 2024.

Handicrafts are crystallized items that reflect the long-standing traditional culture of a nation.

The exhibition has a scale of about 5,000m2 including: Product display area, new and creative handicraft designs of artisans, skilled workers, designers, and handicraft experts; 100 booths displaying and introducing products of enterprises, rural industrial establishments, and information and communication area.

The exhibition will display and introduce 500-600 new and creative handicraft products and designs, and bring to market 300-350 new product designs or products developed from newly recognized designs and displayed at the exhibition.

The exhibition is organized to support enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, business households, rural industrial establishments... producing and trading handicraft products to access and connect with the latest designs and models of handicraft products of artisans, skilled workers, domestic and foreign experts, young designers and rural industrial establishments with export products, so that they can put these designs into production and bring them to market to serve consumers, best meeting market requirements.

With the participation of associations, professional associations, enterprises, rural industrial establishments, handicraft production establishments, artisans, skilled workers, handicraft designers... The exhibition will contribute to the development of the handicraft industry in general and the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program in Hanoi. At the same time, it will promote the connection of supply and demand of goods, consumption of the City's products, attracting people and businesses to increase the exchange and trade of goods.

The exhibition will take place from November 14 to November 17 at Phung Khac Khoan Flower Garden Square, Thach That District, Hanoi.
