The Capital Souvenir Fair 2024 is coming soon

The fair has 100 standard designed booths of enterprises, rural industrial establishments in Hanoi city and an area to display newly designed products, promote, introduce and sell handicraft souvenirs.

The fair has the participation of associations, professional associations, enterprises, rural industrial establishments, establishments producing and trading handicraft souvenirs, artisans, skilled workers, handicraft industry and OCOP products.

This is an opportunity for enterprises and rural industrial establishments producing handicraft souvenirs in the city to promote cooperation in production, processing and consumption of high-quality products, forming a sustainable production and consumption chain of rural products and goods.

Sharing the reason for choosing Hanoi Museum as the venue to organize the 2024 Capital Souvenir Fair, the Organizing Committee said that with its unique architecture and large space, Hanoi Museum is a place of sightseeing and entertainment for many people in the capital, especially young people.

In particular, recently, Vietnamese youth have been very active in showing their interest in the country's cultural history and it is also an ideal destination for those who are passionate about culture and art, as well as attracting domestic and international visitors to the capital. Hanoi Great Souvenirs Fair 2024 promises to be an effective bridge to bring souvenir products and Vietnamese culture in general, and Hanoi city in particular, to domestic and international customers.

Currently, Hanoi is home to more than 1,350 craft villages with about 176,000 households, accounting for 45% of the total number of craft villages in the country. The products of the craft villages are diverse in types, beautiful in design, good in quality, some of which have competitive advantages in domestic and foreign markets. The handicraft industry is playing an important role in the export and economic development of the capital.

2024 is a year with many commemorative activities such as: 49th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2024), 25th anniversary of Hanoi Capital being honored by UNESCO as "City for Peace" and 70th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). The 2024 Capital Souvenir Fair is an opportunity to attract and impress domestic and international visitors with the image of Hanoi Capital "A Thousand Years of Culture - City for Peace - Creative City".

Hanoi Great Souvenirs 2024 will take place from April 25 to April 28, 2024 at Hanoi Museum - Pham Hung Street, Me Tri Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi. The event is chaired by Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, organized by the Center for Industrial Promotion and Development Consulting (IDC Hanoi).
