Samsung Vietnam and Shinhan Bank Vietnam bring Samsung Wallet digital wallet to mobile users

Samsung Electronics Vietnam has signed a memorandum of understanding with Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited to mark a strategic partnership in deploying Samsung Wallet digital wallet with modern financial solutions from Shinhan Bank.

With a shared vision of creating a seamless and secure digital ecosystem, the strategic cooperation event “Safe Storage - Easy Payment” between Samsung and Shinhan Bank will be the premise to promote a convenient and comfortable lifestyle for Galaxy smart device users and Shinhan Bank customers in the context of the mobile payment trend becoming increasingly popular in all spending and entertainment activities of Vietnamese customers.

The partnership between Samsung and Shinhan Bank allows Galaxy smart device users with integrated Samsung Wallet digital wallet to easily link their accounts with Shinhan cards for quick payments. With pioneering management features and Samsung's leading security platform, it will bring convenience, confidence and peace of mind to users when getting closer to mobile payments.

Through the diversity of the Galaxy ecosystem and users' reduced use of cash in spending, along with the ability to securely manage finances on the Samsung Wallet digital wallet, Vietnam can promote comprehensive digital financial solutions, enhance transparency and accelerate economic development.

With the API connection from Shinhan SOL Vietnam, Shinhan Bank's e-banking application automatically integrates cards via the Samsung Wallet application with just one tap "save to Samsung Wallet", applied to all cards that support Samsung Wallet integration and card lines dedicated to specialized services (BEAMIN, KOREAN AIR, LOTTE VISA Card) and supports student card lines.

In recognition of this cooperation agreement, attractive incentives will be provided to customers paying with Samsung Wallet e-wallet integrated with Shinhan card from June 16, 2023 to July 15, 2023, including: Direct discount on bill: VND 500,000 discount directly on each bill when purchasing Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4 with Shinhan Visa card when paying via Samsung Wallet application at all Samsung dealers.

Along with that is a special offer: Receive a Laneige voucher worth VND 400,000 with four transactions per week starting from Friday using Shinhan card via Samsung Wallet app; Refund: Get 50% refund on each first transaction using Shinhan card via Samsung Wallet app (up to VND 200,000), Get VND 1,000,000 refund for customers who make a minimum transaction of VND 5,000,000 the earliest when transacting with Shinhan card via Samsung Wallet app.
