In fact, the 5,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging have been part of the Ultra series specs since the Galaxy S21 Ultra was launched in 2021. Rumors suggest that Samsung will introduce stacked battery technology with higher capacity and faster 65W charging for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Kế hoạch triển khai pin lớn và sạc nhanh hơn trên Galaxy S25 Ultra đã bị Samsung dừng lại để tiết kiệm chi phí

Plans to implement a larger battery and faster charging on the Galaxy S25 Ultra have been stopped by Samsung to save costs

However, this is said to no longer be the case due to the South Korean company's efforts to limit the cost of its future flagship phones. Instead, Samsung may pursue the goal of implementing these technologies with the Galaxy S26 Ultra in 2026.

This isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last cost-saving measure Samsung has taken on its premium phones. The company is reportedly considering launching the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 in both Exynos and Snapdragon variants. Using in-house Exynos chips in some regions would allow the company to cut down on component costs, which have increased due to the strong dollar.

The same will be true for the Galaxy S25 series, which will launch early next year, although it’s unclear whether the company will adopt a dual-chip strategy for the entire lineup or just a portion of it. There are still various design aspects of the Galaxy S25 Ultra that Samsung could change in the future.
