Saigon Co.op exports Vietnamese goods to the US market

Immediately after the program, from the venue, Binh Duong distribution center - the main warehouse of Saigon Co.op - 2 containers of Co.op Select private label goods will be shipped and go straight to the US market.

Goods exported to the US market are domestically produced, selected by Saigon Co.op from the fast-moving consumer goods group, imbued with the identity and quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine such as dipping sauce, vermicelli, pho, spices, tea, coffee... with an order value of nearly 70,000 USD.

All of these Vietnamese products will be sold at the H-mart supermarket chain of Hee Chang Group - a famous Korean retail group with more than 30 years of experience in the US market with more than 100 points of sale across the US. In September 2024, SCD successfully exported 2 containers to Canada, also following an order from Hee Chang Group.

SCD company leaders and partners' representatives presented the Certificate of Export to the US market.

In the last 3 months of the year, SCD will complete exporting 20 containers to foreign markets. SCD focuses on exporting to the world's largest markets such as the US, Korea, Japan, Australia, China, and Middle Eastern countries. In 2025, SCD plans to export 120-150 containers, with an estimated value of 120 billion VND.

SCD's activities have contributed positively to Saigon Co.op's export sector. Accordingly, in 2023, Saigon Co.op will export Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products to the Singapore market with a total export value of nearly 90 billion VND.

Exported goods to the US carry the identity and quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine such as dipping sauce, vermicelli, pho, spices, tea, and coffee.
