The organizing committee of the Vietnam World Rendezvous 2024 photo contest announced on the contest website that the winning work was withdrawn due to violating the rules.

The Vietnam World Rendezvous 2024 Artistic Photography Contest is jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association, and Dong Nam Advertising and Trade Promotion Company.

According to the organizers' announcement, the contest had more than 400 authors participating with nearly 3,200 photos.

The topics proposed by the organizers include photos of Vietnam's tangible and intangible heritages recognized by UNESCO; Vietnamese traditional crafts and villages; Vietnamese customs and practices; Vietnamese traditional festivals, Vietnamese cuisine; Vietnamese tourism, etc.

The contest rules stipulate that the organizers accept all forms of adjustment but not collaged photos; do not accept images created by commands in AI technology; photos have never been published in the press including social networking sites, blogs, forums; photos have never won awards or been exhibited in any photo contest...

After the judging rounds, the jury selected 61 photos for the final round and selected 11 photos for awards.

According to the rules, the system of 11 awards includes: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 5 consolation prizes.

The Organizing Committee will announce the awards on June 22, 2024 according to the previously announced award system.
