(Dan Tri) - High school graduation exam candidates will have 25-100% of their exam scores deducted if they violate the regulations.
According to the new high school graduation exam regulations, the level of exam score deduction will depend on the level of violation of the candidate.
Reprimand is the lightest level, deducting 25% of the total score of the exam with the violation. This level applies to candidates who look at another candidate's exam, exchange exam with another candidate or commit a single violation.
Warning is the second level, deducting 50% of the exam score. This level applies to candidates who violate one of the following errors: Having been reprimanded once but still violating exam regulations during the exam, exchanging exam papers or scratch paper with other candidates; copying another candidate's exam or letting another candidate copy their exam.
In addition, any exam papers with markings found during grading will have 50% of their score deducted.
The exam will be given 0 points, equivalent to losing 100% of the total score, applicable to the following cases: Exam papers are copied from documents illegally brought into the exam room; there are two or more answers for one exam; the exam papers are written by two or more people; parts of the exam are written on scratch paper or paper that does not comply with regulations.
The new regulations also clearly stipulate cases where candidates are suspended from the exam as follows: Candidates who have been disciplined with a warning once but continue to violate the regulations during the exam at the level of reprimand or warning.
Candidates bring unauthorized items into the examination room/waiting room or when moving between the examination room and the waiting room.
Candidates take the exam paper out of the exam room or receive the solution from outside into the exam room.
Candidates write or draw on their exam paper content unrelated to the exam.
Candidates who act aggressively, threaten those responsible for the exam or threaten other candidates.
Candidates do not comply with the instructions of the examination room supervisor or waiting room manager when moving in the examination area and during their time in the waiting room.
Candidates who are suspended from the exam in any year will have their results for all exams/subjects in that year's exam canceled.
The high school graduation exam from 2025 will have many innovations. This is the first exam to be conducted according to the 2018 general education program. With the regulation of taking 2 compulsory subjects (math, literature) and 2 elective subjects out of 9 subjects that count for points in the new program, candidates have up to 36 exam subject combinations to choose from.
The exam is expected to take place on June 26-27, 2025. The total number of exam sessions will be shortened from 4 to 3, with 1 literature exam, 1 math exam, and 1 exam of 2 elective subjects.
