Rosé Blackpink's "APT." breaks PSY's record for the fastest K-pop solo music video to reach 300 million views.

According to South Korean media, the music video for Rosé and Bruno Mars' hit collaborative single has surpassed 300 million views on YouTube.
The song was originally released on October 18th at 1 PM Korean time, meaning it only took 22 days, 6 hours, and 30 minutes to reach this milestone.
"APT." is not only the fastest music video to reach 300 million views for a Kpop solo artist, but also the sixth fastest music video to achieve this milestone of all time (among all artists worldwide).
With the record for the fastest K-pop solo artist's music video to reach 300 million views, Rosé broke the previous record of approximately 25 days held by PSY's 2013 hit "Gentleman." PSY's record had remained unbeaten for 11 years.
APT. was inspired by a familiar Korean drinking game called "apateu" (apartment).
This song quickly became a hit in Korea and globally, earning Rosé her first Perfect All-Kill in her solo career, debuting at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, and achieving many other accomplishments.
The popularity of APT. also propelled another song with the title "Apartment" to the top of the charts in Korea: Yoon Soo Il's "Apartment." Released in 1982, this song was considered a "national hit" at the time.
