38-year-old striker Cristiano Ronaldo received a yellow card for protesting against the referee, on the day Al Nassr beat Al Ettifaq 1-0 in the King Cup round of 16. Sadio Mane scored the only goal in the 107th minute.
In the 12th minute, Ronaldo was tripped by his opponent outside the Al Ettifaq penalty area, but Chilean referee Piero Maza did not blow the whistle and waved for the Al Nassr captain to stand up.

The Portuguese star ran after the referee, pointed at him and shouted loudly. The referee raised his hand to signal Ronaldo to calm down, but he walked away and kept saying something. Referee Maza decided to give Ronaldo a yellow card.
CR7 looked dissatisfied, Al Nassr fans shouted in support of their captain. Immediately after, Ronaldo went to the sideline and turned to the home team's technical area and shouted: "Always against me. They are always against me. It's ridiculous."

In the match last night (October 31), the Portuguese star had 5 shots but could not put the ball in Al Ettifaq's net once. CR7 even made a mistake that cost Al Nassr a goal.

In the 45th minute, Telles made a cross into the penalty area, allowing Talisca to finish close to the goal, scoring against Al Ettifaq. However, after reviewing the VAR technology, the referee did not recognize the goal for Al Nassr because Ronaldo was offside before.
Al Nassr had a difficult match when they lost a man in the 45'+9 minute when Talisca punched the away player. Al Ettifaq was also sent off in the 89th minute when Hazazi received a red card for a foul on Al Nassr's Otavio.
The two teams held each other for more than 100 minutes of play (including injury time of both halves) before entering extra time. It was not until the 107th minute that Al Nassr made a difference with the opening goal.
Yahya crossed completely past Al Ettifaq's defense and Sadio Mane was in the right place to finish close to the goal, scoring the only goal for Al Nassr.
Al Nassr beat Al Ettifaq 1-0 and qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2023-24 King's Cup. Ronaldo's team extended their unbeaten streak to 15 matches and showed their determination to win the title this season.
