More patriotism when visiting Ba Dinh Square on September 2nd
September 2nd is Vietnam's National Day. On this day in 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
On this occasion, many Vietnamese people often come to Uncle Ho's Mausoleum to visit and pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the nation. He devoted his whole life to the independence and freedom of the country.

Mr. Dong Truong (photographer in Son Tay, Hanoi) shared: Ba Dinh Square is a solemn place. Here, I can feel the respect, pride in history as well as deep gratitude to the talented leader - who devoted his whole life to fighting for independence and building a stable peace for the country. "Standing in front of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, I always feel moved and emotional, especially when the whole country is preparing to celebrate National Day. Seeing everyone from the elderly to children, young men and women taking the opportunity to take pictures with Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, with the red flag as a souvenir, I feel very grateful to the heroes, wounded soldiers and martyrs who bravely sacrificed their blood and bones to regain independence for the country and peace for the people", Mr. Dong confided.

Minh Thuc (a photographer in Hanoi) said that about a week before the ceremony, he received many requests to take a set of souvenir photos at Ba Dinh Square. "Unlike other places, although I have come here many times to take photos, each time I come gives me different feelings. Because Ba Dinh Square is not only a place associated with important historical events but also a place that witnessed many great changes in the country's history," said the male photographer. In addition, as people working in the field of photography, both Minh Thuc and Dong Truong realized that the space of Ba Dinh Square is both spacious and green, which can bring women a feeling of relaxation and comfort. From there, they can easily have beautiful and meaningful souvenir photos.
