Real Madrid need to add a striker after Benzema leaves
PSG had reacted strongly to Real Madrid's purchase of Kylian Mbappe before the French striker agreed to stay in Paris at the last minute in the summer transfer last year.
It was initially thought that Mbappe had signed a three-year extension, but in reality it was only a two-year deal with an option for a further 12 months. This means the 23-year-old striker can leave for free next year if he wants.
PSG are trying to build a team around Mbappe to keep the Blue captain in Paris for as long as possible.
And Real Madrid President Florentino Perez did not hesitate to "tease" his counterpart Al-Khelaifi at PSG, when asked if he still intended to sign Mbappe: "Yes, but not this year".
Real Madrid are in need of a striker following Benzema's departure. Coach Ancelotti aims to bring in Harry Kane, but is being hampered by Tottenham's exorbitant asking price and the England captain's high wage demands.

Inter Milan confirms they will keep Lukaku
Lukaku was the centre of attention in the Champions League final, but in an unexpected way. Since coming on, the striker has blocked a goal and missed a golden chance to equalise for Inter Milan.
After the match, many people criticized Lukaku's lack of luck. They thought that Inter should return this striker to Chelsea to avoid bad luck in the context that his contract with the Milan club only expires at the end of this season.
However, despite that, Inter Milan President Steven Zhang still affirmed that he will keep this player.
"Lukaku has a special relationship with Inter. He has great love for the club. That is undeniable.
Lukaku is fantastic but he still has a contract with Chelsea. We will talk to them to resolve his future."
