Rasmus Hojlund arrives at MU for medical examination

Rasmus Hojlund arrived in England today (August 1), undergoing a medical examination before signing a 5-year contract with MU, with an option for an additional 12 months.

The 20-year-old Danish striker will become MU's third biggest signing in the summer transfer window, after midfielder Mason Mount (70 million Euros) and goalkeeper Andre Onana (55 million Euros).

MU closed the Hojlund deal last Saturday, after agreeing to pay an upfront fee of 75 million Euros, plus 10 million Euros in additional fees depending on the performance of the player considered the "new Haaland".

Coach Erik ten Hag expects Hojlund to help MU solve the problems in front of the opponent's goal that they failed to do last season. This young star not only has speed and agility but also excellent stretching ability.

Red Devils fans were amazed when they learned that Hojlund ran 100m in less than 11 seconds.

Captain Erik ten Hag was the one who pushed the deal to happen quickly when he knew PSG wanted to buy. He made a total of 3 video calls with Rasmus Hojlund, talking about how he would use him and how he would fit into MU's playing style.

Due to the persuasion of the Dutch coach, Hojlund only prioritized joining the Red Devils and is eager to become a part of coach Erik ten Hag's squad next season.

MU has now returned to England after a tour of the US, scheduled to have a friendly match with Lens at Old Trafford on August 5 and the following day against Bilbao at Aviva Stadium (Republic of Ireland).

Hojlund will join the Red Devils as they begin their new season against Wolves in the Premier League on August 14.

Liverpool are particularly interested in Romeo Lavia

After an impressive season with Southampton, Romeo Lavia attracted the attention of many Premier League teams when The Saints were relegated.

Liverpool have shown particular interest in the 19-year-old midfielder in recent weeks. The Kop sent an initial offer worth £35 million to buy Lavia but was rejected.

The Merseyside club will raise their asking price to around £45m this week, and face competition from rivals.

Daily Mail revealed that MU, Chelsea and a team outside England all want Lavia's services.

Having just reached an agreement with Hojlund, coach Ten Hag plans to add to the midfield if Fred or McTominay leave.

Sofyan Amrabat is the most mentioned, but Lavia is also on the Red Devils' priority list

As for Chelsea, they see Lavia as a backup option in the context that Brighton is still stubborn in not "releasing" Moises Caicedo.

Southampton are the biggest beneficiaries of the moves surrounding the Belgian, hoping to earn at least £50m from the deal.

Liverpool are struggling to make a transfer, following the departures of two experienced players, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.

PSG closes Ousmane Dembele transfer deal.

Ousmane Dembele joins PSG on a 5-year deal

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said that Ousmane Dembele has agreed to join PSG on a 5-year contract.

PSG has officially contacted Barca to finalize the deal, with the Paris team ready to activate the buy-back clause of 50 million Euros (only valid until the end of July 31).

According to the latest news, Dembele has just asked Barca to let him… negotiate with PSG (even though it has actually been completed) as a way to make his departure public.

Marca reported that Barca asked PSG to include midfielder Marco Verratti in the Ousmane Dembele deal.

However, the Catalan club's request was rejected when PSG reportedly agreed to sell the Italian midfielder to Al-Hilal for 30 million Euros. The player himself also agreed to a 3-year deal to play in the Saudi Pro League.

There is no need for PSG and Barca to negotiate a price because Dembele's release clause is clearly stated in the contract. Therefore, all the player needs to do is agree with the new team.
