Contestant Tieu Minh Phung, who comes from a reformed opera background, also brought the performance "Ly rapper" that exploded on stage. The male rapper started the performance with reformed opera melodies and immediately followed with a "delivery" style (a way of communicating in rap) that is typical of the South with a modern, confident style.

All judges and coaches praised and thanked Tieu Minh Phung for bringing traditional art into rap.

7dnight is fiercely contested by coaches.

The rapper revealed that for a long time he felt self-conscious about his appearance. "My hands were not born intact like everyone else's. From the time I went to school until I came to Korea, I felt very self-conscious.

My paternal and maternal grandfathers were soldiers and were exposed to Agent Orange, so I was born like that. But now I have overcome it (the self-consciousness) and feel very comfortable," 7dnight shared.

After meeting BigDaddy in Korea, he listened to the advice to come to Vietnam to compete in Rap Viet, because: "I want to perform on big stages to prove to everyone that I can do it. I want to inspire people in difficult circumstances that if 7dnight can do it, you can do it too."

Delivering the rap "That's it", the male rapper used local words with strong characteristics of Nghe An and Central Vietnam to conquer the panel of coaches as well as make the whole audience restless.

Because he loves contestant 7dnight so much and is determined to bring him to his team, Coach B Ray decided to use the Golden Key to "ban chat" BigDaddy, not allowing this coach to debate and convince the contestant to join his team.

However, with 91% of the votes from the studio audience, 7dnight became a member of Coach BigDaddy's team.

Rules of Rap Viet 2024

In the Conquest round, the coaches will decide which contestant to choose for their team by choosing. If the contestant has two or more choices, the right to decide which team the contestant will be on will belong to the three judges.

Each coach will have a Golden Hat in hand and can use it to win contestants to their team, overriding the decision of the three judges.

In addition, the Coach also has a Golden Key in hand and the right to use the Golden Key is only for the Coach to choose.

The coach who pushes the lever the fastest gets to use the Golden Lock, and they have the right to put the Golden Lock on a coach they deem a "danger" in competing for their favorite contestant.

Coaches wearing the Yellow Lock will not be allowed to compete for contestants, nor will they be allowed to debate or use the Yellow Hat.

In addition to the Golden Key, each Coach also has a First Choice right. All four Coaches will see the Casting Round's test and use their First Choice right to choose a contestant for their team before the Conquest Round takes place.

The coaches will not know each other's First choice and the contestants will not know they are the First choice.
