On May 24, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai chaired a meeting to review and resolve difficulties and problems of industrial park (IP) infrastructure projects in Binh Thuan.
Also attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of relevant departments, units, localities and infrastructure investors of industrial parks: Tan Duc, Son My 1 (Ham Tan), Tuy Phong (Tuy Phong), Ham Kiem I, Ham Kiem II (Ham Thuan Nam)...
Here, Mr. Phung Huu Cu - Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Binh Thuan province reported on a number of contents related to the Tan Duc Industrial Park and Son My 1 Industrial Park projects. Including: Appraisal work, submission of land allocation/lease, determination of specific land prices for compensation and clearance in the Industrial Park, intersection connecting Tan Duc Industrial Park with National Highway 1A, land lease contracts for BOT projects in Son My 1 Industrial Park... In addition, information was also provided on the implementation of state land lease and sublease in the Industrial Park, thereby recommending the Provincial People's Committee to consider directing specialized departments to coordinate and advise on removing difficulties and problems that have existed in the past.
On this occasion, representatives of infrastructure investors of industrial parks in Binh Thuan and related departments, branches, localities and units also discussed and clarified the proposed issues that need to be addressed. Such as changing the form of payment for state land rent (from annual to one-time payment for the entire rental period), social housing in industrial parks, investment in construction of water supply pipelines to industrial parks, etc.
In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai said that the meeting could not completely resolve the difficulties and problems raised here. Therefore, he requested the departments and branches to coordinate with the Ham Tan District People's Committee to focus on resolving the problems in site clearance as well as establishing reasonable land prices at the Tan Duc and Son My 1 projects.
Regarding the proposal to lease land for one-time payment, the provincial leaders assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and advise on documents to report to the competent authority for approval. The remaining contents were assigned to relevant departments and localities to continue to coordinate in resolving, in which regarding social housing, the Department of Construction was requested to review the regulations and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider reporting to the superiors.
