Within the framework of the conference announcing the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, held on the morning of May 28, many enthusiastic and profound opinions of investors in the province were recorded.
Speaking at the conference, representatives of businesses and investors all said that Ninh Binh is a land of talented people, a place with many advantages and potentials to attract investment projects for green, sustainable and effective development. Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hyundai Thanh Cong Automobile Group, said: In 2007, Thanh Cong Group decided to invest in building an automobile manufacturing and assembly plant with a capacity of 13,000 vehicles/year in Gian Khau Industrial Park, Ninh Binh province.
In November 2022, the No. 2 Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Plant in the Expanded Gian Khau Industrial Park was inaugurated, making Ninh Binh one of the three largest automobile manufacturing centers in the country. After more than 15 years of investing in Ninh Binh, to date, the Group has implemented 8 automobile manufacturing and assembly projects and automobile supporting industries, contributing significantly to the growth and increase in budget revenue of Ninh Binh province.
Thanh Cong Group's investment activities in the automobile industry in Ninh Binh have become the nucleus attracting a series of FDI enterprises in the field of industrial production supporting the automobile industry to invest in Ninh Binh, making Ninh Binh one of the major automobile manufacturing centers in Vietnam.
In addition to making a large contribution to the state budget, the Group also creates stable jobs for local workers, contributing to ensuring social security. Currently, of the 3,500 employees working at the Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Complex, about 70% are from Ninh Binh, many of whom are highly skilled, ensuring the stable and long-term development of the enterprise as well as the Ninh Binh automobile industry brand.
The representative of Thanh Cong Group emphasized: The above results were achieved thanks to the Government, the Prime Minister, the Central Committees, Ministries; leaders of provinces, cities and especially the leaders of Ninh Binh province through the periods have always accompanied and supported the Group. In particular, the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, which was announced, has a particularly important role and significance for the business community, domestic and foreign investors and Thanh Cong Group. This is an important basis for the Group to continue investing, calling for major partners to invest or form joint ventures and associations to develop together, making Ninh Binh one of the leading centers of the automotive mechanical industry in Vietnam in the coming years.
Appreciating the province's attention and facilitation for the business community in recent years, Ms. Le Thi Thu Ha, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Tan Phu Tourism Joint Stock Company (Emeralda), said: In recent times, the Provincial People's Committee has focused on directing the effective and synchronous implementation of tasks and solutions to resolve bottlenecks in the fastest and most effective way, promptly removing difficulties for businesses, creating the most favorable conditions for businesses and investors when investing in Ninh Binh province... This is the belief and motivation for businesses to feel secure when choosing the right destination to develop tourism.
With two high-end resorts that have been invested and exploited by the Company, Emeralda Van Long and Emeralda Tam Coc, the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, is an important basis, of special significance for the Company to continue to expand and upgrade higher-end services, linking business development with environmental landscape protection and ecotourism.

Contributing ideas at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Truong, Director of Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise, said: Ninh Binh is a land of "geomancy and talented people", a place that possesses unique values such as stone capitals, rice fields with the characteristics of "mountains as walls, rivers as roads, caves as palaces". This is the difference, resource, and value of Ninh Binh tourism brand recognition. Therefore, the province needs to continue to exploit and promote these unique values to enhance its position and brand both domestically and internationally.
First of all, the province needs to build a professional film studio, revolving around the core values of landscape, nature, culture, and history of the Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage. At the same time, promote activities to protect the natural environment, preserve cultural and historical values, restore the landscape, soon complete the East-West road project, restore Sinh Duoc village, have mechanisms and policies to attract investors to Hoa Lu airport...
On the business side, we will commit to fully implementing procedures and requirements in accordance with legal regulations, and will always accompany and support the province in investment and sustainable development, helping Ninh Binh complete the tasks and criteria set out in the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
