Mr. Rabelin Tchoumi, CEO of OWI Investment Fund, welcomed the cooperation agreement with VKBIA; emphasizing that the two sides have a common goal of identifying investment opportunities in Vietnam and Korea, in line with the investment orientation of the group. With the signing of the agreement, the group's investment capital will be mobilized to support joint investment activities in Vietnam and Korea through development projects in many fields.

OWI Investments is a global group headquartered in Abu Dhabi (UAE) that provides long-term capital for investible projects globally. The group operates under the UAE’s vision of investment-driven bilateral and multilateral partnerships for development. The group’s investment projects are specifically designed to contribute to the sustainable development agenda of each of the UAE’s strategic partner countries.

The relationship between Vietnam and the UAE has developed strongly in many different fields in recent times. The UAE is currently Vietnam's largest trade partner in the Middle East - North Africa region. Vietnam encourages UAE businesses and investment funds to invest and transfer technology in areas of mutual interest such as logistics, real estate, services, infrastructure, innovation, etc. According to Dr. Tran Hai Linh - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - Chairman of the VKBIA Association, the cooperation agreement between the VKBIA Association and the OWI Investment Fund will contribute to further promoting investment cooperation between the UAE, Korea and Vietnam.

In Korea, the delegation of OWI Investment Fund and VKBIA Association had many working sessions with leading financial management companies and large and medium-sized corporations and enterprises of Korea to discuss, analyze and decide on a number of priority areas that will be focused on investment in Vietnam and Korea in the near future.
