On February 18, the National Assembly approved the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi from the position of Minister of Construction, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat from the position of Minister of Science and Technology, and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh from the position of Chairwoman of the Social Affairs Committee.

The approval process for dismissal from the position of Minister and the position of Chairman of the Social Committee and Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee is carried out by secret ballot.

After taking the prescribed steps, the National Assembly voted to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to approve the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi from the position of Minister of Construction and Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat from the position of Minister of Science and Technology.

The National Assembly also passed a resolution to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh from the position of Chairwoman of the Social Committee and member of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Previously, on February 17, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Science and Technology was assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
