From July 23-28, a delegation of Quang Ninh province and a number of enterprises of the province participated in the 8th China - South Asia Expo and the 28th Kunming Import and Export Fair, China, in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

At the Fair, Quang Ninh province has a common booth to introduce, promote and display publications and products introducing the image of Quang Ninh province, the potential strengths of trade and tourism of the province to Chinese and international tourists; introduce and promote typical products, typical OCOP products of Quang Ninh province such as: oyster floss, shrimp floss, fish floss; plum wine, Yen Tu Ba Kich wine; Quy Hoa golden flower tea; Binh Lieu dong vermicelli; Duong Hoa Lao Tuong Quan tea, Duong Hoa red honey, Duong Hoa tea filter... to the people of Yunnan province, China and international tourists. Display images of socio-economic achievements, economic development potential, fields attracting investment in Quang Ninh province at the Fair and events taking place within the framework of the Fair.

Also within the framework of the Fair, the Quang Ninh delegation will participate in trade and tourism cooperation activities including: the Mekong Sub-region Economic Corridor Provincial Governors' Forum in 2024; the 6th China-Southeast Asia Trade Forum in 2024; and the China-Vietnam Cross-Border Tourism Cooperation Forum in 2024.

Through the Fair, it contributes to concretizing the cooperation agreements between Quang Ninh and provinces/regions of China; promoting trade and tourism promotion activities between Quang Ninh and Yunnan Province, China in 2024; effectively linking the province's trade and tourism promotion activities at regional and international events. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Quang Ninh to introduce its potential and advantages in trade and services; support the province's trade and tourism enterprises to participate in activities at the Fair, contributing to creating conditions for market expansion, connecting exchanges, meetings, finding partners, promoting trade and boosting product consumption.
