Quang Nam: Indian restoration experts come to work at My Son cultural heritage site

Recently, a group of Indian experts from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) came to My Son to carry out phase II conservation work.

The expert team includes: Mr. Danve DS, archaeological engineer as team leader, Mr. Pashindla Prashant, archaeological engineer, Mr. Ravula Vikas Senior as videographer. The group of towers that are being preserved is group F. It is expected that group F temples and towers will be completed within 4 to 5 years, working 8 to 10 months each year.

While waiting for the consensus from the management agencies and related specialized agencies, the expert group continues to conduct field surveys, assess the current status of the relics, record, take photos and measure. At the same time, they study conservation solutions for each tower, study drainage solutions from the mountainside flowing down behind the tower, ways to prevent erosion and landslides, choose locations for worker camps, warehouses, and material gathering places.
