Including 10 cascade hydropower projects with a total capacity of 1,205MW; average electricity output of more than 4,349 million kWh/year and 30 medium and small hydropower projects with a total designed capacity of 547.56MW; average electricity output of more than 1,946 million kWh/year.
According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, the whole province has 29 power plants in operation; 6 projects are under construction; 5 projects are carrying out investment procedures to start construction.
In the province, there are 9 hydropower projects with resettlement including: A Vuong, Dak Mi 4, Song Tranh 2, Song Con 2, Song Bung 4, Dak Mi 4C, Tr'Hy, Song Tranh 4, A Vuong 3; in which 4 projects have households voluntarily resettling including: Song Con 2, Tr'Hy, Song Tranh 4, A Vuong 3 and 5 concentrated resettlement projects are: A Vuong, Song Tranh 2, Dak Mi 4, Dak Mi 4C, Song Bung 4.
The total number of people who must relocate according to the plan is 16 households, 63 people; all of these households and people have moved to resettlement areas and points with a total compensation and resettlement support cost of more than 109 billion VND.
