DHAKA TRIBUNE. French President Emmanuel Macron and host country Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina discussed a “commitment” from Bangladesh’s Biman Airlines to buy 10 A350s from Airbus, in a deal potentially worth up to $3.2 billion.

XINHUA. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will visit China from September 14 to 16 at the invitation of Premier Li Qiang, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning announced on September 11.
XINHUA. President Nicolas Maduro said Venezuela and China - two countries that benefit from friendly relations and share a "common destiny" - are committed to the goals of peace, development and cooperation.

REUTERS. Germany will provide an additional 20 million euros in aid to Ukraine, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced during a surprise visit to the Ukrainian capital Kiev on November 19.

UKRINFORM. Ukraine and Sweden will jointly produce the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) with improved all-terrain capabilities and reinforced multi-layered armor, according to Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar.

RIO NEWS. Brazil's Civil Defense Agency says a total of 44 people have died and 46 are still missing after a tropical storm hit the south last week.
AP. Panama's government announced new measures to stem the large numbers of migrants and refugees trying to cross the dangerous Darien Gap jungle region that connects the country with Colombia.

FRANCE 24. The French government has confirmed its commitment to spend 5 million euros ($5.4 million) to support organizations present in Morocco to overcome the consequences of the devastating earthquake a few days ago.
AFP. At least 150 people have died in devastating floods in Libya caused by storm Daniel sweeping across the Mediterranean.
AHRAM. On September 9, Egypt's State Agency for Statistics (CAPMAS) released official figures showing that in August, the country's inflation rate reached 39.7% - an unprecedented high.
