Ripe persimmons cost between 55,000 and 80,000 VND per dozen, depending on size.

Persimmons are divided into two types: waxy persimmons, which are flat, small, uniform, glossy yellow, and have a long-lasting aroma, priced at 55,000-60,000 VND per dozen; and round persimmons (also known as late-ripening persimmons), which are larger, usually the size of an adult's fist, priced at 70,000-80,000 VND per dozen. On online marketplaces, many vendors offer round persimmons for 50,000 VND/kg. Additionally, persimmons are also sold by the branch for vase arrangements at a price of 190,000-200,000 VND per branch.

The persimmon ripening season usually begins in late June or early July of the lunar calendar and ends around early August of the lunar calendar.
