As evidence for this, Mr. Dinh Van Cuong - Deputy Director of PTC3 - shared that recently in Dak Nong province, PTC3 coordinated with functional agencies and local authorities to promptly handle the forced demolition of construction works of the people. At the same time, the community was warned about violations of the high-voltage grid safety corridor on the 500kV Dak Nong - Cau Bong line in Nhan Co commune, Dak R'lap district, Dak Nong province.
Specifically, during the process of implementing periodic inspections of the transmission grid safety corridor along the 500kV Dak Nong - Cau Bong line, at pole 2964 - 2966, Dak Nong Power Transmission (under PTC3) discovered that the construction work of Mr. Doan Ngoc Quoc Viet's household had a part of the area located inside the safety corridor of the line, violating locations.
The inspection team requested the homeowner to complete the dismantling and relocation of the violating area to restore its original state under the supervision of Nhan Co commune authorities and Dak Nong Power Transmission within 5 days.
After completing the dismantling and relocation within the prescribed time, the homeowner signed a commitment not to repeat the offense and not to use the tennis court for sports activities. This ensures the safety of users as well as ensures the regulations on protecting the safety of the 500kV power line corridor.
The Deputy Director of PTC3 emphasized that the above incident showed the determination and effectiveness in the management and operation of power lines, and coordination with functional agencies and local authorities in ensuring the safety corridor of the transmission grid of PTC3's affiliated units. This has concretized the contents of PTC3's instructions for this work.
This includes focusing on strengthening the periodic inspection of transmission lines during operation, promptly detecting, guiding and immediately handling violations and signs of violations, not allowing organizations and individuals to complete construction works to avoid wasting assets of organizations and individuals. At the same time, not allowing risks of accidents among people causing unsafety in the operation of the transmission grid.
Continue to thoroughly educate all officers and employees on the regulations on instructions on the procedures for handling violations of the transmission grid safety corridor of the National Power Transmission Corporation. At the same time, comply with the regulations on housing and construction according to Article 13 of Decree No. 14/2014/ND-CP dated February 26, 2014 and Clause 3, Article 51 of the Electricity Law.
Continue to review and strengthen the management and operation of transmission line safety corridors to ensure the prevention of risks of kites, flying objects, etc. outside the corridor. Timely and firmly tie down and prevent flying objects from flying into transformer stations and transmission lines during the storm season in the last months of 2023.
