The mining industry, mainly gold minerals, is estimated at over 225.2 billion VND.
Regarding resource management and environmental protection, the locality has organized inspections, raids, and suspensions of illegal mineral exploitation cases in the 5A and Khe Tang areas (Phuoc Thanh commune), Phuoc Loc and Phuoc Hoa communes..., thereby destroying 80 camps, dozens of generators, mills...
In addition to the achieved results, there are still many shortcomings such as: Compensation, site clearance, and progress of some key projects and works are still slow; the disbursement rate of investment capital is low. The implementation of national target programs is still slow; meanwhile, illegal exploitation of forests and minerals is still recurring.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Quang Trung - Chairman of Phuoc Son District People's Committee proposed that the Provincial Party Committee consider a support mechanism for those who are not cadres or civil servants when participating in the Party awareness training course to create a source for developing Party members. At the same time, the province should soon approve the adjustment of the General Planning for the construction of Kham Duc town and surrounding areas for the period 2025 - 2030 to create favorable conditions to attract investment and create a driving force to promote the local socio-economic development.

Regarding the recommendations of the Standing Committee of Phuoc Son District Party Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet assigned the leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches to respond immediately at the working session.
