Specifically, based on the appraisal conclusion dated May 6, 2024 of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Lao Cai province; appraisal conclusion of the contents according to Appraisal Request Decision No. 193/QD-CSKT dated December 14, 2023 of the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Provincial Police; Pursuant to Article 36 and Article 149 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Provincial Police decided to resume the handling of criminal information sources according to Decision No. 98/QD-CSKT dated January 19, 2024 of the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Provincial Police regarding the case of people denouncing officials, party members and civil servants for violating the law, covering up violations, taking advantage of positions and powers to forge documents, forge signatures, appropriating public land of the State and 5% of the people's rice land, transferring to individuals for conversion, issuing land use right certificates, dividing and selling plots of land in Phong Nien commune, Bao Thang district, appropriating tens of billions of dong, causing loss of State and people's assets, causing public outrage, occurring in Phong Nien commune, Bao Thang district.
