Phu Tho strengthens security and order to serve tourists at Hung Temple festival

It is forecasted that on the main day of the festival, the number of visitors to Hung Temple will be very large. To ensure security, order and traffic safety, Phu Tho Provincial Police has coordinated with the Management Board of Hung Temple Historical Site to prepare plans for people to travel conveniently and safely. To ensure traffic order and safety, Phu Tho Provincial Police has developed a traffic diversion plan from afar; anticipated some traffic congestion situations and plans to clear and divert traffic to ensure traffic order and safety. Based on the developed plan, the Traffic Police Department mobilized 100% of its forces to focus on plans to regulate and divert vehicles and patrol, control and handle violations.
Phu Tho Provincial Police develop traffic diversion plan
To prevent traffic jams and accidents, and to support and help people move to the temples and pagodas conveniently, the Traffic Police force organized to guide and direct traffic, to avoid traffic jams and accidents in the festival area. In particular, the Traffic Police force coordinated with the Police of provinces and cities such as: Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai... to direct traffic from a distance, not allowing heavy vehicles to enter the festival area.
Major Le Xuan Tu, Head of the Staff Team, Traffic Police Department, Phu Tho Provincial Police said: “To ensure traffic order and safety, the Traffic Police Department has also developed a plan to resolve traffic jams. Focusing on a number of situations related to traffic jams on routes from Noi Bai-Lao Cai Expressway to the Hung Temple area as well as from Phong Chau Bridge, Hac Tri Bridge, Van Lang Bridge to the Hung Temple area. Based on the actual situation, we will mobilize 100% of our staff to participate in guiding and directing traffic from a distance to ensure timely resolution to prevent prolonged traffic jams.”
It is predicted that there will be a lot of people attending the Hung King's death anniversary. This year, to ensure safety and security at the relic site, Phu Tho Provincial Police have increased their forces, including setting up fences at the temple gate and assigning officers to be on duty at crowded gathering points to guide and direct visitors. The provincial police have carefully arranged checkpoints. In particular, security forces are arranged to observe from high and long ranges to ensure absolute safety. To prevent and stop gambling, theft, and pickpocketing, in addition to the public forces, the provincial police have arranged undercover detectives in the temple areas and areas where cultural and sports activities take place. In addition, the provincial police have also directed professional departments and district and city police to strengthen armed patrols and close off areas. At the same time, they coordinate with the Management Board of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site to regularly inspect, remind and propagate to raise people's vigilance. Mr. Le Truong Giang, Director of the Hung Temple Historical Site, said: “This year, like every year, we have coordinated very well with the provincial police. You have also sent forces here to set up checkpoints, including fixed checkpoints and security forces to manage suspicious phenomena. From there, there are remote preventions. In addition, in addition to the police force, the military force, the volunteer youth force can also do those things. We also use the self-management exchange, people will have information to promptly reflect on how to prevent and minimize the level. We also continuously announce on the loudspeaker to ask visitors when coming to Hung Temple to always be vigilant and protect their own property,” said Mr. Le Truong Giang.
