On October 10, to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Women's Union of the Coast Guard Command organized a campaign to disseminate legal education and award scholarships to disadvantaged students and families with meritorious services at Tay Mo Primary School, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
Through various forms of communication, the officers and women members of the Coast Guard agency have informed teachers and students about the situation of Vietnam's seas and islands, the position and functions of the Vietnam Coast Guard; propagated about drug prevention, crime, the harmful effects of drugs on schools, and prevention of school violence, etc.

Within the framework of the program, the Women's Union of the Command presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to students with especially difficult circumstances and families with good academic performance. The unit also coordinated to clean and beautify the school campus, and presented meaningful gifts to teachers on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20).
