Phu Ninh effectively maintains the model of spending and party committees to help poor and near-poor households

In 2024, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee will continue to effectively direct the implementation of the model of helping villages/blocks build model new rural villages/new urban blocks and helping poor households associated with building a movement to improve the landscape environment to be bright - green - clean - beautiful.

Accordingly, 180 agencies and Party cells registered to commit to implementing Directive No. 13-CT/HU dated May 13, 2021. Since then, the environmental landscape of offices, schools, village/block cultural houses and rural environments has had many positive changes.

The Standing Committee of Phu Ninh District Party Committee has assigned 53 Party cells and Party committees to help 22 villages/blocks build new rural areas, model new rural areas/new urban blocks and 36 poor and near-poor households.

On that basis, Party cells and Party Committees have issued specific documents on leadership, direction, and implementation guidance on helping poor households and helping villages/blocks in line with the actual situation of localities, agencies, units, and households.

Specifically, for poor and near-poor households, support will be provided for means of livelihood, livestock, crops, garden economy development, living expenses for poor households' children to study, repair and build houses, health insurance, electricity, auxiliary works, etc.

For villages/blocks, support trees, build flower roads, install solar lighting systems, security cameras, propaganda panels, and raise awareness about waste classification and treatment at source, equip legal bookcases... Thereby, helping villages maintain and improve the quality of NTM criteria.

Locally, we also maintain and expand models such as “Piggy Bank with Children Going to School”, “Sharing Love Without Money in the Morning”, “Millions of Gifts Sharing Love”, “Godmother”; “Reunion Meal”; “Collecting Scraps and Paper to Support Funds for Poor Children”; “Each Youth Union Branch is Associated with a Circumstance”… Thereby helping many especially difficult circumstances, adding will and determination for them to rise up in life.
