Although not on the list of speakers at former US President Donald Trump's campaign, Mrs. Melania Trump made a surprise appearance and gave a short speech before introducing him at Madison Square Garden in New York on October 27 (morning of October 28, Vietnam time).
According to The Hill , in a speech of less than 5 minutes, she said that America is dealing with a decline in the quality of life.
"Let us move forward together with a shared vision building on the greatness of America. Let us seize this moment and create a country for tomorrow, the future we deserve," Melania said.
After introducing her husband, she stood on stage and gave a hug as Mr. Trump approached.
The former first lady has barely attended any public campaign events with her husband. The Madison Square Garden event was her first appearance of the campaign. She attended the Republican National Convention in July but did not speak.

In his remarks, Mr. Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris on the economy, and announced a new policy commitment on tax incentives.
"I am here today with a message of hope for all Americans. With your vote in this election, I will end inflation. I will stop the criminal invasion of our country and I will bring back the American dream," he said.
He pledged to quickly build "the greatest economy in the history of the world," eliminate inflation and improve people's lives. He also pledged tax incentives for "people who care for their parents or loved ones."
Earlier in Mr Trump's campaign, a speaker, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, criticized the US territory of Puerto Rico as "a floating island of trash in the middle of the ocean".
Ms Harris quickly criticized the statement. "The people of Puerto Rico deserve a president who sees and invests in their strengths," she said in a clip posted on social media.
