On August 23, social media continued to stir when a parent in Thai Binh posted information about her child's 10th grade exam scores.
Parents say 10th grade exam scores still "dance" after inspection
Specifically, Ms. Lu Thi Diep, mother of candidate LKÂ, posted online that her child's first round of the 10th grade high school entrance exam scores for literature, math, and English were 7.25; 4.5, and 4.2, respectively.
On August 20, after the inspection, her child's math score was increased by 1 point to 5.5 points and she still passed her first choice to enter Chu Van An High School.
Then at 9:00 a.m. on August 21, Ms. Diep said that her child received information that he failed the exam and his math score on the system was changed from 5.5 points to 0.5 points.
Along with the feedback, Ms. Diep's family provided 3 screenshots showing the candidate's scores changing over the access times.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province, after receiving the information, on the afternoon of August 23, the department held a meeting with relevant individuals and units with the participation of representatives of Thai Binh Provincial Police, representatives of Viettel Thai Binh, representatives of the board of directors of Hoang Dieu Secondary School, Thai Binh city, and Ms. Lu Thi Diep, mother of student LKÂ..
At the meeting, Ms. Lu Thi Diep presented that student A's math scores had changed when looked up at different times on the Thai Binh province's primary school admission system, specifically the score looked up on the system before the inspection was 4.5 points in math.
The score looked up on the system after the inspection (according to parents' feedback) at 9:02 a.m. on August 20 was 5.5 points, at 4:14 p.m. on August 20 was 5.5 points, and at 9 a.m. on August 21 was 0.5 points.
The family provided 3 screenshots. The family requested to immediately file a request to review the student's math exam score and requested the department to clarify the above incident.
At the meeting, Viettel Thai Binh representative opened the search history (log) on the Thai Binh province's primary enrollment system with the witness of the meeting participants. The result: Candidates searched more than 20 times.
All math lookups are 0.5 points (with detailed lookup history attached, including 1 lookup at 9:02:58" coinciding with the time provided by the family).
Then, Viettel Thai Binh staff looked up the exam scores of candidate Â.. On the system in front of all members, at the time of looking up, the math score was 0.5 points.
Thai Binh Department of Education and Training has reported the incident to the Department of Information and Communications to promptly handle the above inaccurate information.
