The emulation movement is growing in both depth and breadth.

On the afternoon of July 24, Emulation Cluster No. 18 of Thanh Hoa province held a conference to review emulation and reward work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

Emulation cluster No. 18 was established under Decision No. 1197/QD-UBND dated March 27, 2024 of the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, including 7 member units (with 2 types of enterprises: One-member LLC and Joint Stock Company with over 50% to 100% state capital): Nam Song Ma Irrigation One Member LLC; Thanh Hoa Urban Environment and Works Joint Stock Company; Thanh Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company; Song Chu One Member LLC; Bac Song Ma Irrigation One Member LLC; Lam Son Company Limited - Thanh Hoa Trade Union; MEDLATEC Thanh Hoa Company Limited. The cluster leader is Lam Son Company Limited - Thanh Hoa Trade Union.

Comrade Phan Quoc Tung, Head of Cluster, General Director of Lam Son Company Limited - Thanh Hoa Trade Union delivered the opening speech at the conference.

Thoroughly grasping the teaching of President Ho Chi Minh: "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation"; at the same time, seriously implementing the guiding documents of the Government and the province on emulation and reward work, Emulation Cluster No. 18 has actively responded to emulation movements, proactively innovated emulation and reward work, launched and well organized patriotic emulation movements and achieved important results, contributing to the successful completion of assigned functions and tasks.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Head of the emulation cluster, Deputy Director of Bac Song Ma Irrigation Company Limited reported on the preliminary summary of the emulation movement in the cluster.

In order to effectively organize and implement emulation movements, leaders of member units have closely coordinated with unions in the unit to organize specialized conferences or integrate them with professional conferences and unions to thoroughly disseminate and propagate to cadres, party members, and workers about emulation movements, contributing to promoting production and business of the unit, thereby raising the awareness of self-awareness and voluntariness of each collective and individual to actively participate in emulation movements, having practical and effective activities.

At the same time, to create the best conditions for each individual and collective to deploy and implement the registered emulation contents, the leaders of the member units in the cluster have assigned members of the Emulation and Reward Council of the unit in charge of the area, to coordinate with the organizations to regularly pay attention, guide, inspect, urge and evaluate the results of the emulation movement. Thereby promptly resolving difficulties, overcoming shortcomings and limitations; detecting, fostering, building advanced models and examples to propagate, disseminate and replicate with appropriate forms.

Representatives of units in the cluster discussed good practices for widespread application, continuing to make the cluster's emulation movement increasingly develop in both depth and breadth.

As a result, in the first 6 months of 2024, emulation activities at member units in the cluster were implemented in many forms, diverse and rich, with creative emulation content, maintained regularly and effectively in all areas of work. All units completed and exceeded the assigned plan targets and achieved better quality than the same period last year. With the achievements of the member units, they have contributed to the implementation of the socio-economic development tasks of the province in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country.

At the conference, delegates discussed and evaluated the results achieved, existing limitations, solutions, lessons learned, good practices to be widely applied, continuing to make the emulation movement of the cluster increasingly develop in both depth and breadth. At the same time, they proposed directions, goals, tasks of emulation and reward work and emulation movements in the coming time, contributing to the successful implementation of political goals and tasks, production and business activities of the units in 2024.
