Ukraine's contrasting form

The Futsal World Cup 2024 schedule for the second round of matches in Groups C and D has attracted attention, especially after the teams produced a flurry of goals in the first round. The biggest surprise was the Ukrainian futsal team, who showed a completely different performance compared to their previous match.

In their first match, the Ukrainian futsal team suffered a heavy 1-7 defeat against Argentina. However, in their second match against Libya, Ukraine surprisingly beat their opponent 7-2, rekindling their hopes of advancing.

In the other match of Group C, the Argentina futsal team defeated Afghanistan 2-1, thus officially advancing to the round of 16. With this defeat, Afghanistan has the same 3 points as Ukraine but a better goal difference. The match between the two teams in the final round is considered the "final" of Group C.

Meanwhile, in Group D, the Spanish futsal team, after drawing their first match, showed their true strength. Spain played an attacking game to secure a resounding 7-1 victory against New Zealand. In the other match, Kazakhstan defeated Libya 4-1.

Thus, the situation in Group D is relatively more unpredictable than in Group C, with three teams competing for a spot in the knockout round. Spain and Kazakhstan both have 4 points, while Libya has 3 points.
