Preventing corruption and negativity, Quang Nam promotes the responsibility of leaders

The Provincial People's Committee determined that in the fight against corruption and negativity (PCTNTC), prevention is fundamental and long-term; detection and handling are important, urgent and breakthrough; closely combining prevention, detection, handling and synchronous use of political, ideological, organizational, administrative, economic and criminal measures.

The heads of Party committees, heads of agencies, units and localities must take responsibility for the negative and corrupt situation in their agencies, units and localities according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption.

Heads of agencies, units and localities shall direct the acceleration of reviewing, amending, supplementing and perfecting laws on socio-economic management and anti-corruption, focusing on areas prone to corruption and negativity such as: personnel organization; financial management, budget, public assets, management of state capital invested in enterprises, investment, construction, bidding, auction; land, resources, minerals; credit, banking; tax, customs and other areas directly related to people and enterprises...

Depending on their functions and tasks, each agency and unit must thoroughly overcome limitations and shortcomings in management mechanisms, policies and laws discovered through inspection, examination, auditing, investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments; clearly define the responsibilities of agencies, organizations, units and leaders in organizing implementation.

Agencies, units and localities proactively and promptly provide and orient information and public opinion on the results of inspections, examinations and handling of violating officials; the results of initiating investigations, prosecutions and trials of serious and complicated corruption and negative cases that are of public interest. The whole province focuses on promoting good people and good deeds; building diverse channels for receiving information and reflecting on corruption and negative events.
