Comrades Nguyen Xuan Phuc - former Politburo member, former President; Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee accompanied the delegation.

THACO Group representative said that THACO is currently implementing the strategy of becoming a multi-industry industrial corporation, operating in the fields of automobiles, agriculture, mechanics - supporting industry, investment - construction, trade - services and logistics... with high complementarity and integration between THACO and its member corporations.

In Chu Lai, THACO builds an ecosystem of automobile assembly and production centers, mechanical engineering and supporting industries, agricultural and forestry processing and logistics.

In this ecosystem, there are 7 projects that the province granted investment registration certificates to at the conference announcing the Quang Nam Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 this morning, March 16, including electromechanical factories, passenger car wire manufacturing, high-end auto glass manufacturing, auto body frame components manufacturing, passenger car interiors, passenger car seat manufacturing and THACO Industries R&D center; along with the decision to approve the investment policy for the project to expand and upgrade Chu Lai port, located in Tam Hiep port area.

Entering early 2024, closely following the direction and management spirit of the Government, along with the Planning of Quang Nam province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, THACO member enterprises in Chu Lai actively innovate, create, proactively build breakthrough solutions, complete the set goals and plans, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the province...

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and his delegation visited Chu Lai port and listened to THACO representatives introduce their investment strategy and expand the scale of exporting goods to Laos and Southeast Asian countries in the coming time.
