The combination of pho and Vietnamese lotus seeds, along with its sweet and refreshing taste, has made Pho Sen a favorite among Japanese people.

Sasco's Pho Sen attracted the attention of many visitors at the "Vietnam Pho Festival 2023" held in Japan from October 7th. Most consumers were impressed by the broth, which blends lotus root, sea worms, and traditional Phu Nhi fish sauce to create a subtly sweet and uniquely aromatic flavor, resulting in a balanced taste.

Mr. Aoyagi Yoichiro, a member of the Japanese Parliament , said he enjoys eating pho. He also expressed his admiration for the creativity of Vietnamese chefs in combining ingredients to create interesting variations of the dish. Besides Pho Sen, he also highly appreciates Pho Sam, Pho Tra Xanh, Pho Hat Ket, Pho Tam Giac Mach, etc., as each type has its own unique flavor.

"The first Vietnam Pho Festival, held in Tokyo, Japan, took place under beautiful sunny weather. Cultural exchange activities are further strengthening the relationship between the two countries," Mr. Aoyagi Yoichiro added.

Along with Pho Sen Sasco, other famous pho brands such as Pho Dau, Pho Thin, Pho Hai Thien, Pho 'S Sam Ngoc Linh, and Pho from the Grand Saigon Hotel also participated in this event. Each chef and each brand has its own recipe and secrets to create a distinctive flavor, but all aspire to spread the traditional taste of Vietnamese pho to international friends.

This is also a rare event that brings together chefs who have won the Golden Star Anise Award over the years, such as Pham Quang Duy, Nguyen Tien Hai, Nguyen Tu Tin... along with chefs from famous pho brands in Vietnam, to meet with Japanese culinary artisans.

Over the two days of the event, the organizers also presented many activities promoting and showcasing the unique culture and arts of Vietnam.
