The combination of Vietnamese pho and lotus with its sweet, refreshing taste helps Pho Sen score points with the people of the cherry blossom country.

Sasco's Sen Pho attracted the attention of many tourists at the "Vietnam Pho Festival 2023" taking place in Japan from October 7. Most consumers were impressed by the broth with a blend of lotus root, sea worms and traditional Phu Nhi fish sauce, creating a unique sweetness and aroma, bringing balance in flavor.

Mr. Aoyagi Yoichiro, a member of the Japanese National Assembly, said that he personally loves pho. He also expressed his delight at the creativity of Vietnamese chefs when combining ingredients to create interesting variations for the dish. In addition to Pho Sen, he also highly appreciated Pho Sam, Pho Tra Xanh, Pho Hat Ke, Pho Tam Giac Mach... because each has a unique flavor.

"The first Vietnam Pho Festival was held in Tokyo, Japan in beautiful sunny weather. Cultural exchange activities are promoting closer relations between the two countries," Mr. Aoyagi Yoichiro added.

I am really looking forward to enjoying traditional Vietnamese food. The dishes here are all very delicious, especially pho," this diner expressed.

Along with Pho Sen Sasco, famous pho brands such as Pho Dau, Pho Thin, Pho Hai Thien, Pho 'S Sam Ngoc Linh, and Pho Grand Saigon Hotel also participated in this event. Each chef and each brand has their own recipe and secret to create a unique flavor, but all want to spread the traditional flavor of Vietnamese pho to international friends.

"The activities at the festival are rich and interesting, bringing warm feelings like living in the atmosphere of home," Ms. Thu Huyen said.

Vietnam Pho Festival 2023 also has the participation of culinary expert Matsuo Tomoyuki who will directly introduce pho and demonstrate how to make pho noodles for two consecutive days. The festival also attracts many Vietnamese restaurants and chefs in Japan as well as Japanese restaurants and chefs, creating a colorful culinary cultural space.

This is also a rare event that brings together chefs who have won the Golden Star Anise award over the years such as Pham Quang Duy, Nguyen Tien Hai, Nguyen Tu Tin... along with chefs from famous pho brands in Vietnam to meet with Japanese culinary artists.

During the two days of the event, the organizers brought many activities to promote and exchange unique Vietnamese culture and art.
