Thao Dien night street crowded with customers on opening day

In the night town, there is Thao Dien market, riverside park at the foot of Saigon bridge. In the near future, this place is expected to open a river bus route. This area is also where the locality will promote the development of the night economy. The Tet market area along the Saigon river is still being completed to serve tourists.

The night street will be piloted for 6 months, from January 19 to July 19. After this period, the locality will assess the needs of tourists and residents and evaluate the impact factors to adjust and have solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Ho Chi Minh City currently has 8 night streets including two walking streets Bui Vien and Nguyen Hue (District 1), 5 food streets: Ho Thi Ky and Quang Trung Flag Tower (District 10), Vinh Khanh (District 4), Hau Giang (District 6), Nguyen Thuong Hien (District 3), Phan Xich Long (Phu Nhuan District). Recently, Binh Chanh district proposed to open Trung Son night street, operating 18-24 hours a day, with 252 stalls, invested in the form of socialization.
