Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Giang Thi Dung visited and presented gifts to participants of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in Van Ban district.

Accompanying the delegation were leaders of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Military Command; leaders of Van Ban district, representatives of a number of departments, offices, and units of the district and Liem Phu commune.

The provincial delegation visited and presented gifts to those who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are currently living in Liem Phu commune (Van Ban).

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Ms. Hoang Thi Po, born in 1936 in O village; Ms. Lang Thi Van, born in 1930 in O village and Mr. La Van Kim, born in 1933 in Gieng village. All three were frontline laborers who directly participated in the fighting and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

The provincial delegation presented gifts to Ms. Hoang Thi Po and Ms. Lang Thi Van, frontline laborers in O village, Liem Phu commune.

At the places visited, Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, kindly inquired about the health and life of the frontline workers; expressed respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the soldiers in the resistance war against the French.
