Popularizing digital infrastructure, enhancing digital applications to promote Digital Transformation in Quang Binh province in 2024

The workshop aims to create a forum for exchanging and discussing the current status of digital transformation in state agencies, enterprises and society; at the same time, introduce and share reference models and solutions to be included in programs and plans for organizing the application of information technology and implementing digital transformation in agencies, units, sectors and localities.

Attending the workshop were Mr. Hoang Huu Thai, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Digital Transformation, representatives of relevant departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, associations, unions, telecommunications - IT enterprises in the province.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, emphasized: Digital transformation is a process of overall and comprehensive change of individuals and organizations in the way of life, working and production and business methods based on digital technology and digital data. Implementing Resolution 07 of the Provincial Party Committee, digital transformation activities in Quang Binh province have had positive changes, applying information technology in the operations of state agencies has achieved many important results, contributing to promoting administrative modernization, improving the quality and efficiency of management, operation, work resolution and providing public services to people and businesses.

Digital transformation in production, business and social life is increasingly widespread. Organizations and enterprises have become more aware of the use of technology and digital data as the main input factor, the use of the digital environment as the main operating space, and the use of information and telecommunications technology to innovate business models and increase labor productivity. People have increased access and trained in digital skills to use digital services, thereby forming new relationships in the digital environment, forming digital habits and digital culture.

However, besides the achieved results, the digital transformation work of Quang Binh province still has difficulties and limitations related to digital infrastructure and the development and organization of applications. number in agencies of the political system, in enterprises and in the social community.

The workshop provided useful knowledge and information on digital transformation, contributing to raising awareness of agencies and businesses in the province about the important role of digital infrastructure and digital applications in socio-economic development; an opportunity for agencies and units in the information and communications sector to exchange, learn and gain deeper insights into advanced technology solutions to meet the requirements of digital transformation in the coming time./.
