Ngo Tho Thong was born on April 4, 2003, graduated from Thanh Hoa Industrial Vocational College in 2022, is an outstanding mass in studying, training and growing up from the local Youth Union movement. After being informed by the local authorities about the Law on Military Service, with the awareness and responsibility of the city's youth, Ngo Tho Thong volunteered to write an application to join the army. Through the examination, Ngo Tho Thong was selected for military service in 2024.

Speaking at the Party admission ceremony, Thanh Hoa City Party Secretary Le Anh Xuan congratulated Ngo Tho Thong on joining the Party. The Secretary of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee emphasized: Implementing Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on strengthening and consolidating grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of party members in the new period, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has led and directed the Party Building Committees, Party Committees of wards and communes, relevant agencies and units to develop plans for developing new party members for each group. After the results of the military service examination, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned the responsibility to the Organization Committee, the Propaganda Committee, the City Military Command to coordinate with the City Political Center and wards and communes to open 3 classes to foster Party awareness for young people, including 175 young people who will join the army in 2024. After a period of serious preparation, the wards and communes selected 90 outstanding young people to join the army to join the Party on the occasion of February 3.
