Minh Quang High School was established on June 30, 2014. On September 5, 2014, Minh Quang High School held its first opening ceremony for the new school year, at that time the school had only 8 teachers on the payroll, 10 contract teachers and 175 students.

After 10 years of establishment and development with countless difficulties and challenges, teachers and students of the school have made constant efforts, gradually affirming their position through the quantity and quality of education increasing each school year. In October 2020, the school was recognized as meeting national standards level 2.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, teacher Nguyen Duy Binh - Principal of Minh Quang High School said that the 2024 - 2025 school year marks the 10th anniversary of the school's founding. This is also the first school year that the school has over 1,000 students. The school's facilities are being renovated and improved to be more spacious and clean, meeting the increasing learning needs of students and the requirements of educational innovation.

This year, the school welcomed 515 10th graders, among them students with high admission scores, over 40 points.

Entering the new school year 2024 - 2025, teachers and students of Minh Quang High School continue to adhere to the goal of diversifying educational forms to maintain and improve the quality of comprehensive education. The school also focuses on training and developing a team to meet the requirements of implementing the 2018 General Education Program; building a safe and friendly educational environment.

Deputy Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong and Secretary of Ba Vi District Party Committee Duong Cao Thanh presented bicycles to students in difficult circumstances.

Along with that, teachers, staff and employees of the school need to join hands and unite; promote autonomy, self-responsibility, and dedication to the overall development of the school; educate students with conscience, responsibility and love.

Representatives of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and leaders of Minh Quang High School presented congratulatory gifts to students who passed the university entrance exam and were the school's top students.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong and leaders of Ba Vi district presented gifts of 17 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances who have made great strides in life and have good academic achievements.

On the occasion of welcoming the new school year 2024 - 2025, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong and leaders of the Department of Education and Training, Ba Vi district planted a souvenir tree on the campus of Minh Quang High School.

Immediately after attending the opening ceremony at Minh Quang High School, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong visited and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the computer room at Tan Linh Secondary School, Tan Linh Commune, Ba Vi District. The computer room has a total of 25 computers worth 280 million VND sponsored by Phuong Trang Tourism Company based in Phu Thinh, Son Tay.
